Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is hiring a Material Handler in Redlands, CA for a 12-month contract. This role runs a 1st shift, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of 16–20 USD per hour.

Responsibilities include moving materials with forklifts and other equipment, maintaining records, and following SOPs with attention to quality. Candidates should have 0–1 year warehouse experience, ability to read labels and verify accuracy, and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Mainly manual labor - unloading trucks and stacking pallets - under 25 lbs (some weigh less than 5 lbs)
• Must be able to verify labels on boxes and matching to pallets. Attention to detail is essential! Scanning experience is needed as well
• Stand up forklift experience needed
• Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations. Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products using forklifts, conveyors, cranes and power trucks.
• May maintain records and develop skills in basic tasks within one area.
• Follow prescribed steps to complete routine tasks with adherence to quality guidelines.
• Work under general to limited supervision and comply with SOPs.
• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent.
