Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse, material handling, inventory control, or logistics experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other powered industrial equipment.
• Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP or similar software.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to read material numbers, lot numbers, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, identify, store, move, stage, and deliver raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Verify material numbers, lot numbers, quantities, labels, and documentation before moving inventory.
• Operate forklifts, Drexel equipment, pallet jacks, drum lifters, scissor lifts, scales, and label printers.
• Deliver materials to production and packaging areas while supporting on‑time operations.
• Return unused materials to proper storage locations and maintain accurate inventory rotation practices.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including staging and preparing shipments.
• Complete SAP and inventory transactions for receipts, transfers, returns, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
• Perform cycle counts, research discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Maintain stock labels, storage locations, and material traceability.
• Support inventory audits and report damaged materials or inventory issues.
• Safely handle hazardous materials according to established procedures.
• Wear required PPE and respiratory protection when necessary.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas using 5S housekeeping practices.
• Assist with Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, quality, shipping, and supply chain teams.
