Job summary

Novo Building Products is seeking an entry-level Material Handler in Amherst, NH to move, store, and manage materials for production and distribution. You will verify incoming goods, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate inventory while supporting a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years in a warehouse setting, with proficiency in MS Office and strong attention to detail. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documenting inventory.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Good organizational and time management skills; proficient with MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Safely transport materials to storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts.
• Collaborate with production to ensure materials are available for manufacturing.
• Prepare and package materials for shipment according to specs and standards.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while handling materials.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized; communicate with team and supervisors.
• Identify and report discrepancies related to inventory or handling to management.
