Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Duluth, GA is hiring a Material Handler to keep materials moving throughout the facility and support receiving, inventory, and production operations. The role requires forklift operation, basic computer use, and ability to work with teams and independently.

The shift is 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a focus on safety, accuracy in handling inbound/outbound shipments, and maintaining organized warehouse processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Unload and stage incoming shipments using material handling equipment.
• Prepare and break down inbound shipments and verify accuracy.
• Put away products and materials in designated locations.
• Pull orders accurately using paper or electronic order systems.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Move materials to designated areas throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and performing job duties.
