Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Newtown, CT is seeking a Seasonal/Temporary Material Handler for days (M-F). The role runs a 3 to 6 month assignment with a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule. You will pick, scan, label, move and stack product, count and inspect items, and notify leadership of damages.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, quality and accuracy, with emphasis on operating a pallet jack and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse. Prior MHE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer experience in warehouse or logistics.
• Able to operate pallet jack and follow SOPs.
• Able to lift 21–50 pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Pick, scan, label, stack and move products as directed.
• Inspect and count products; report damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area; follow safety rules.
