Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in Greensboro, NC seeks a Group Coordinator to support supervision by directing the work of a production group, ensuring smooth workflow, quality, and safety. Qualifications

Three years of manufacturing experience.

Certifications may be required depending upon department (e.g., forklift).
The ability to read and write in English.
The ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist supervisory personnel in maintaining efficient operation.
Lead group ensuring proper flow, quality, and safety.
Instruct and direct employees on methods and procedures.
Assign or reassign work as needed.
Perform duties of group leading functions when required.
Maintain good housekeeping and regular attendance.
Coach and assist in development of operators including standardized work and problem solving.
Lead 5s initiatives and maintain visual displays.
Investigate root causes and establish countermeasures.
