Schaedler Yesco Distribution is hiring a Warehouse Janitor to keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized. Responsibilities include sweeping aisles, disposing of waste, breaking down cardboard, and operating cleaning equipment during a Monday–Friday shift.

The role supports safe, efficient operations and requires adherence to OSHA guidelines. Experience in janitorial or warehouse cleaning is preferred but not required, with opportunities for professional development and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or warehouse cleaning experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep warehouse floors and keep aisles, staging areas, and workspaces clean and free of debris.
• Collect and dispose of cardboard, shrink wrap, trash, and other warehouse waste throughout the shift.
• Break down cardboard for recycling and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Cut and remove shrink wrap from pallets and work areas as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the warehouse.
• Clean spills promptly and safely to prevent accidents.
• Operate floor sweepers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Assist with general warehouse housekeeping projects and periodic deep-cleaning assignments.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management when repairs or replacements are needed.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with company policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Follow all company safety procedures and immediately report hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Support warehouse operations by maintaining clean aisles, dock areas, and workstations to promote safety and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
