Job summary

Hillyard, Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Warehouse Team Member to join our Operations team on the M-F day shift. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders with accuracy and efficiency.

As part of a collaborative warehouse, you will operate battery-powered equipment, maintain inventory integrity, and support teammates to meet daily shipping goals. Reliable attendance, safety-mindedness, and basic computer/email skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, shipping, or order fulfillment is preferred.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including email.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Prepare LTL and small parcel shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Safely operate battery-powered material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory while keeping the warehouse organized and clean.
• Work closely with teammates to meet daily shipping goals.
• Use basic computer systems and email to support warehouse operations.
