Job summary

Renewal by Andersen Corporation is expanding its San Diego footprint and seeks a hands-on warehouse/materials associate to support fast-paced installation crews. You will unload/load trucks, stage materials, manage stock, and collaborate with vendors while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred but training may be provided.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience stocking and pulling materials in a warehouse is a plus.
• Experience in window replacement industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety/OSHA regulations.
• Learn and apply Lean Principles.
• Unload/load installation trucks and stage materials for crews.
• Work with vendors and suppliers; drive to various job sites around San Diego.
• Receive orders and stock materials; ensure materials meet order specs.
• Fabricate windows and complete final assembly as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including staging areas.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE

• Adhere to safety / OSHA regulations
• Learn and apply Lean Principles
• Unloading/loading installation trucks
• Work with vendors and suppliers
• Site runs to supply needed materials to the various job sites around the San Diego area and beyond
• Materials pickup
• Receiving orders
• Staging of construction materials for installation crews
• Window fabrication and final assembly
• Maintain clean working areas

WHAT YOU BRING | THE PERSON

• Great attitude and work ethic; ability to work well with others – Being a team player is a must!
• Professional appearance and manner
• Attention to written instructions: Able to follow assembly instructions, driving directions and other written documentation
• Ability to accurately gather materials for specific orders
• Customer service focus
• Experience accurately measuring and cutting carpentry materials required
• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50-75 lbs., climb and work from ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with construction projects
• Safety-oriented
• Open to and able to learn
• Forklift certified is preferred but willing to train
• Experience stocking and pulling materials in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Experience in the window replacement industry is a plus
