Job summary

Renewal by Andersen Corporation in San Diego is hiring for a hands-on warehouse/logistics role supporting window replacement projects. You will manage material intake, staging, and delivery to multiple job sites while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and experience handling carpentry materials. A valid driver’s license and the willingness to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50–75 lbs and work on construction sites.
• Ability to follow assembly instructions and written directions.
• Experience stocking and pulling materials in a warehouse setting.
• Experience in the window replacement industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and OSHA regulations.
• Learn and apply Lean Principles.
• Unloading/loading installation trucks.
• Work with vendors and suppliers.
• Site runs to supply materials to job sites around San Diego and beyond.
• Receive orders and stage construction materials for crews.
• Window fabrication and final assembly.
• Maintain clean and safe working areas.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE

• Adhere to safety / OSHA regulations
• Learn and apply Lean Principles
• Unloading/loading installation trucks
• Work with vendors and suppliers
• Site runs to supply needed materials to the various job sites around the San Diego area and beyond
• Materials pickup
• Receiving orders
• Staging of construction materials for installation crews
• Window fabrication and final assembly
• Maintain clean working areas

WHAT YOU BRING | THE PERSON

• Attention to written instructions: Able to follow assembly instructions, driving directions and other written documentation
• Ability to accurately gather materials for specific orders
• Customer service focus
• Experience accurately measuring and cutting carpentry materials required
• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50-75 lbs., climb and work from ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with construction projects
• Safety-oriented
• Open to and able to learn
• Forklift certified is preferred but willing to train
• Experience stocking and pulling materials in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Experience in the window replacement industry is a plus
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record is required
• Smart Phone, for job-related navigation and app use
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
