Join to apply for the Day Shift Warehouse Associate role at Gourmet Foods International.

Job Overview

You'll be part of the dedicated warehouse team delivering delicious specialty foods to our customers. This fast-paced, physical role involves receiving trucks full of orders, preparing them for delivery, loading conveyor belts, and transporting and staging deliveries for drivers.

Some of your duties may include:

1. Unload, receive, and store incoming inventory items.
2. Operate an RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items for orders.
3. Follow prompts on screens and adhere to instructions.
4. Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.

Requirements include:

1. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 30 lbs.
2. Exposure to refrigerated/freezer environments (0-36°F).
3. Ability to ascend/descend a 10-inch step from the floor.
4. Excellent communication, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and work independently.
5. Ability to stand for long periods and reach/bend as needed.

Preferred but not required:

• Previous warehouse or cold storage experience.
• RF device experience.
• Pallet jack operation or stand-up forklift certification.
