Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of clerical experience preferred in a medical setting or currently enrolled in a nursing/medical program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• English speaking skills.
• Transcription skills.

Mansioni

• Transcribes physicians' orders accurately and timely.
• Generates and maintains patient care tools (Kardex, MAR, Nursing Flowsheets).
• Creates and maintains patient charts per Medical Records guidelines.
• Obtains and files test results, labs, and treatments.
• Maintains chart integrity and prepares records for transfer or discharge.
• Coordinates with units for supplies and patient transport as needed.
• Handles non-clinical information for patients, families, and staff.
