Enloe Health in Northern California is hiring a Unit Secretary / Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff as a receptionist, liaison, and secretary for the unit. The role may include patient care responsibilities under supervision and assisting with medication transport to and from the pharmacy.

Applicants should have clerical, computer, and receptionist experience, with CPR certification and CA licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Must be able to interact professionally and effectively communicate with physicians, staff, patients, and public.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing and medical staff by acting as receptionist, unit liaison, and secretary for the nursing unit.
• Provide patient care as needed.
• Transport medications to and from pharmacy as required.
• Coordinate tasks under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to follow the medical plan of care.
