Marksman Security LLC in Southlake, TX, is hiring a Security Officer for the 1st shift (Monday–Friday). You will perform access control, patrolling, and incident reporting to deter theft and maintain a safe environment.

The position requires a Texas non-commissioned security license, a high school diploma, and strong customer service skills. Training, PTO, and benefits are provided to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Texas security license (non-commissioned) required.
• Experience in reporting, surveillance, and customer service.
• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks; able to sit/stand/walk/climb stairs for extended periods.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 6 months of proven security experience per TOPS history.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scanning tag on back of approved devices and reading IMEI to match paperwork.
• North Dock: Monitor trash dump for theft, open/close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count pallets.
• South Dock: Count pallets, monitor special projects, send/receive emails, document truck info, monitor doors.
• Metal Detector: Check devices in/out; ensure visitors clear through X-Ray.
• Rover: Patrol area to deter theft attempts.
• Tracker: Track high-value loads via computer software.
