Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for all shifts in Texas. You will provide excellent customer service, monitor access for tenants and visitors, and conduct regular patrols to safeguard people and property.

A Texas security license will be pursued, and you must pass a background check. The role emphasizes reliability, communication, and ability to work in various weather conditions. Pay starts at $19.65/hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain and maintain Texas Security License.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical duties (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Texas Security License
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Daytime, Evening, overnight, and weekend availability
