Prosegur is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for day shift in Gardena, CA. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, monitoring access, and providing professional, customer-focused service on a daily basis.

You will perform routine patrols, observe for hazards, document incidents, and assist visitors and employees with courtesy and professionalism. The position requires a CA Guard Card, a high school diploma or GED, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid CA Guard Card.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• 1-year prior Truck Gate Security Officer experience.
• 1-year Gate house officer experience.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs).
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer property.
