ConGlobal Industries LLC in Columbus, OH is hiring a Terminal Operator/Hostler Driver to safely unload, load and reposition intermodal containers in the depot yard. You will operate the hostler, move containers within the yard, and support gate operations and equipment repairs.

The role requires hostler or heavy equipment experience, strong safety focus, ability to work outdoors in all weather, good communication, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating hostler or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and hold a valid driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment background verification and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate hostler to move containers within the yard.
• Load and unload intermodal containers from and onto chassis.
• Stack and unstack containers and chassis as per yard plan.
• Coordinate with gate personnel for drop-offs and pickups.
• Support maintenance by moving equipment for repairs or inspections.
• Perform routine safety checks and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized yard environment and follow site safety protocols.
