Job summary

National Vision in Salt Lake City is seeking a Day Shift Team Lead to oversee optical manufacturing operations, ensuring lens quality and an efficient production workflow. You will supervise associates and contribute to training and development under supervisory guidance.

Qualifications

• Read and write English required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a related field or similar role.
• Ability to follow simple instructions, perform with accuracy, and sustain mental effort.

Responsibilities

• Invoice inspection and directing trays accordingly.
• Visually pre-inspect lenses, load into sectors, place sectors into machines.
• Place proper chemicals into pockets after each phase to maintain flow.
• Lift sectors from machines and verify paperwork numbers for accuracy.
• Clean lenses with proper cleaners and maintain ANSI compliance.
• Lead workflow between departments and operate AR Coating Machine.
• Train new associates and support performance development.
