Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer for the Day Shift Surveillance role in Tempe, AZ. You will guard healthcare facilities, monitor entrances, and perform routine patrols to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service to staff and visitors.

The position is full-time with a daytime schedule and competitive pay. You will follow security procedures, respond to emergencies, and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare manufacturing location.
• Be vigilant in monitoring and patrolling interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Verify visitor/contractor authorization and maintain security logs and reports as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and hazards.
• Monitor access to designated areas and verify visitor and contractor authorization; maintain logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and following established protocols.
• Document observations and communicate relevant information to leadership and site contacts.
