Responsibilities

• Prepares operating room for surgical patient, reviews preference cards to determine surgeon needs, obtains supplies and equipment, ensures cleanliness and assists with sterile supplies.
• Performs surgical scrub duties and assists with collection, identification and disposition of cultures and specimens.
• Assists in turning over the room and returns supplies, instruments and equipment to proper location.
