Job summary

UCF Lake Nona Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to ensure timely receiving and distribution of supplies that support quality patient care in Orlando, FL. This position supports the facilities' daily operations and procurement workflow.

In this role you will process returns, transport and deliver legend and contrast media, log deliveries in the SMART system, maintain storeroom min/max levels, rotate stock, perform QA checks, and assist colleagues across

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous stock clerk or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all returns to vendor or backstock and deliver supplies accurately and on time.
• Transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices.
• Receive expedited deliveries, log receiving in the SMART system, and deliver to appropriate department.
• Receive all cross-docked items into the SMART system.
• Review and maintain Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders accordingly.
• Count par level areas (POU areas) weekly according to schedule.
• Ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes.
• Perform QA random checks on totes.
• Rotate stock in POU areas and backup storeroom areas to prevent outdated items, assisting personnel.
• Check after-hour logs for charges and determine how to avoid reoccurrence.
