Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is hiring a Day Street Sweeper (Non-CDL) in San Marcos, CA. The role is full-time, 1st shift, with a pay range of $19–$20 per hour and minimal travel. You will operate a street sweeper, perform safety checks, and deliver reliable, high-quality street cleaning services.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience preferred.
• License: Driver’s License.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Compliance: MVR check, background check, and drug screening per policy and law.

Responsibilities

• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Review assigned routes and complete jobs within the allotted timeframe.
• Safely operate the street sweeper and comply with traffic laws and site procedures.
• Handle materials safely and dispose of waste per procedures.
• Report equipment issues, near misses, or injuries within 30 minutes or as soon as safely possible.
• Maintain professional communication with team, supervisors, and clients.
• Complete required logs, manifests, and forms.
• Be adaptable to changes and ensure regular attendance.
