Job summary

Wilsonart seeks a production operator to operate and maintain melamine treaters, ensuring material is cut to exact lengths, stacked neatly, and rewound with high visual quality under supervision. This is a day shift of three 12-hour days.

Ideal candidates have basic tape measure skills, ability to follow directions, and safety awareness; familiarity with Oracle and WIP is a plus. Join a team dedicated to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Knowledge of computers to use word processors, spreadsheets, databases, Oracle, and WIP transactions.
• Knowledge of safety standards in the Melamine Department and related rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain melamine treaters.
• Ensure material is cut to specified lengths and stacked neatly.
• Set up and run melamine rewinders and maintain visual quality under supervision.
• Read treater schedules and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Cross-train for checker and wet end positions.
