Job summary

Adecco is seeking SMT Machine Operators for a client in Windsor, CT. These long-term roles offer day shift hours (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with pay between $19 and $21 per hour, depending on experience.

The role involves setting up and operating SMT equipment, loading components, and ensuring quality PCBs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and documenting production data; prior SMT experience and IPC certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with SMT experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/electronics assembly, specifically SMT, is expected.
• Certification in IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD-001 is often preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate SMT pick-and-place machines, printers, and reflow ovens according to production schedules.
• Load components (reels/ feeders) and solder paste, ensuring correct part placement.
• Inspect PCBs for defects using microscopes or AOI tools and document results.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine errors.
• Maintain production logs with machine settings and output data.
