Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Indianapolis, IN for 1st shift (Day). You will perform data-entry and administrative tasks to record all shipments, support inbound/outbound processes, and maintain documentation, scheduling, and reporting.

You will also communicate with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate shipment processing. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year of data processing experience in a distribution center, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of data processing experience in a distribution center.
• 1 year of warehouse/clerical experience.
• PC skills with Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with RF equipment preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-service oriented.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry within the shipping and receiving area.
• Execute administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving.
• Coordinate and schedule pick-ups.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
• Consolidate shipments promptly and in compliance with routing guides.
• Support reporting via the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintenance systems.
• Perform inventory adjustment audits and track data monthly.
• Communicate workload and collaborate with carriers and internal teams.
