Job summary

Embecta in Holdrege, NE is seeking a Setup Operator for a 12-hour shift (6:20a–6:30p) at our plant that runs 24/7. You will perform machine set-ups, changeovers, and routine maintenance to produce quality devices under GMP/SOP standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, completing minor repairs, and maintaining maintenance and quality records. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic computer tasks including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine set-ups, changeovers, troubleshooting, and maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Clear jams and follow lockout-tagout policy.
• Diagnose mechanical or electronic faults in production equipment.
• Complete minor repairs and coordinate non-routine repairs.
• Maintain machine performance metrics (efficiency, volume, scrap, quality).
• Assist with major repairs as needed.
