Job summary

GRBS is seeking a Custodian for Haslett Public Schools in Lansing, MI. The full-time day shift runs Monday through Friday with one weekend per month, from 7:00am to 3:30pm, totaling 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities include cleaning, mopping, trash removal, restroom upkeep, and occasional biohazard cleanups during the school day. Ideal candidates are 18+ with valid ID, dependable, team players, and capable of lifting cafe tables for lunch setup.

• Must be 18+ with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS processes.
• Communicate respectfully with others.
• Finish tasks according to building map and shift.
• Mop floors and dust surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and remove trash.
• Respond to biohazard cleanups during the school day.
• Clean common areas and dust mopping of hallways.
• Set up and break down lunch areas; lift cafe tables.
• Pool maintenance; must be able to obtain a Certified Pool Operator license.
• Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
