Chartwells K12 is hiring full-time COOKs in Billings, MT. The role offers a fixed hourly pay with a day shift schedule (6:00 am to 1:30 pm) and no evening work. You will prepare meals in a school cafeteria, follow recipes, and support service delivery in a safe, clean kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring temperature and appealing presentation.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high cleanliness standards and safe food handling.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neatly stored; stores food and supplies per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed; assists in production planning and reporting.
• Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required; reports equipment issues to supervisor.
