Job summary

Hydrasearch is seeking a Saw Operator in Stevensville, MD, to cut raw materials to precise dimensions on a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday. Be part of a team that tracks materials and maintains strict inventory control in a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will read blueprints, measure cuts, verify heat/lot traceability, and manage stock in the ERP/MRP system while operating band and cold saws and using forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Required ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and basic data entry.
• Comfort with using an ERP/MRP system for inventory transactions.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate band and cold saws to cut material per work orders; measure and inspect finished cuts for dimensional accuracy.
• Verify material type, size, and heat/lot traceability before and after cutting; label properly.
• Manage stock levels of bar, pipe, and tube; track usage and remnants in ERP/MRP system.
• Operate forklifts to load/unload deliveries and stage material for production.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including blade changes and coolant management.
• Follow safety protocols and support quality teams with first-piece verification.
