Job summary

Hydrasearch is seeking a Saw Operator in Stevensville, MD to cut raw materials to precise dimensions using band and cold saws. You will verify heat/lot traceability, manage stock, and support production within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Expect a daytime schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with competitive hourly pay and benefits. Prior forklift operation and ISO/AS9100 exposure are a plus, and safety is a priority in our team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate band and cold saws to cut material per work orders; measure and inspect finished cuts for dimensional accuracy.
• Verify material type, size, and heat/lot traceability before and after cutting; maintain proper labeling throughout the process.
• Manage stock levels of bar, pipe, and tube; track usage and remnants (drops) in the ERP/MRP system.
• Operate forklifts to load/unload deliveries and stage material for production.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including blade changes and coolant management.
• Follow all safety protocols and support quality teams with first-piece verification.
