Job summary

Southport Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking experienced RN's to join our team. We are hiring for full-time positions on a 40-hour schedule, 7a-3p. Candidates must hold a CT RN license and have prior nursing home experience.

Responsibilities include directing day-to-day nursing care, supervising staff, admitting and discharging residents, and ensuring accurate documentation. Benefits and a supportive team environment are offered.

• Able to supervise nursing staff effectively

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing care in a long‑term care facility.
• Ensure staff follow their job descriptions and care plans.
• Greet and assess new admissions; monitor resident conditions and document changes.
• Participate in surveys and prepare reports as required.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and rounds with physicians.
