Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.

• Work experience: Six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a cooperative work environment using strong communication and teamwork.
• Own the nursing components of the patient, family, and significant-other education.
• Communicate with team, co-workers, patients, and families and verify understanding.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure accurate, timely patient information.
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and promptly.
• Demonstrate ownership for performance and ongoing professional growth.
• Apply the nursing process to deliver quality care during the patient episode.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
