Job summary

USPI Parkway Surgery Center in Henderson, NV is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse PreOp/PostOp. The RN provides perioperative care following the nursing process and the medical plan of care for diverse patient populations.

Position features a Monday-Friday schedule with no on-call, nights, weekends, or holiday work hours. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, PTO, 401k, paid holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current NV Nursing License.
• 2+ years experience in Pre-Op PostOp; ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS accreditation by AHA.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Support mission, vision and values of USPI.
• Maintain patient-family centered care in perioperative services.
• Adhere to safety, aseptic technique, and organizational policies.
• Mon-Fri work schedule with no on-call, no nights, no weekends, no holidays.
