Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU RN for our Folsom Surgery Center. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered perioperative care using the nursing process and organizational policies. Work weekdays only with no holidays, weekends or on-call duties; some later evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current California nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years Pre-op/PACU experience; ambulatory setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understand aseptic technique and implementation.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
• Knowledge to recognize, evaluate and solve problems and correct errors.
• Adaptability to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teaching, communication and organizational skills.
• Professional and ethical behavior; ability to work with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities
