Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Promotes patient and family centered care and educates on illness, treatment, home care and medication administration.
• Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance activities and professional development.
• Develops and documents plans of care with interprofessional teams and communicates across the continuum.
• Uses nursing assessments to address physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs of patients.
