Job summary

Good Samaritan in Pipestone, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time daytime role. The RN will deliver individualized nursing care, assess residents, and collaborate with families and the care team.

The position supports the nursing process, staff coordination, and delegation of tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. A state RN license is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred; Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed staff within scope of practice.
