Job summary

Good Samaritan in Pipestone, MN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.

The role involves coordinating care, resident assessments, education, and potential charge nurse duties while delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff. A solid RN license and required certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinates care, resident assessment, and education across patient population.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
