Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Iowa.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Experience in long-term/geriatric care; supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health status and develop care plans.
• Monitor residents' health and document changes; communicate with physicians and care team.
• Administer medications and treatments following medical orders.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other advanced treatments as needed.
• Supervise nursing staff (CNAs, LPNs) and provide training.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and stabilize residents as required.
