The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process and to collaborate with the health care team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Shifts are day hours, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (4-10 hour shifts). A BSN is preferred, with a BSN plan for those hired with an ADN or diploma. RN experience and SC licensure are required, with BLS current and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• One year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
• RN hired with Associate/Diploma must enroll in BSN within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the SC Board of Nursing or a compact state is required.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
