Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal‑directed patient care to patients and families under general supervision, applying the nursing process and collaborating with the health‑care team to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), at least one year of RN experience, SC Board licensure or compact state, BLS and ACLS, and the ability to work a 36‑hour day shift.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA BLS Healthcare Providers or equivalent).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal‑directed patient care under general supervision.
• Interact with health‑care team to achieve desired results.
