Job summary

Raleigh Court Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, VA is seeking an RN House Supervisor for our 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The Day shift oversees nursing in the DON’s absence and coordinates staffing and patient care rounds.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with at least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care. Responsibilities include admissions/transfers, staff orientation, and supervising evening/night shifts to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with active license.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care.
• Day shift availability and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing department in the DON’s absence.
• Reviews staffing at shift change and assigns/replaces staff.
• Completes patient care rounds and coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees.
• Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift staff.
