Job summary

The Sanford Health RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Performs nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for patients.
• Cares for patients across prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice and adheres to ethical guidelines.
