Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled registered nurse for day shift responsibilities in Georgia. You will perform the nursing process, assess patients, plan and deliver individualized care while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity, collaborate with the care team, and participate in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) or Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• RN license (state or multi-state) required or eligible.
• BLS certification required; ACLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process with assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides patient-centered care aligned with cultural sensitivity and diversity.
• Promotes teamwork and coordinates safe, high-quality patient care across care teams.
• Maintains timely documentation and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Serves as a preceptor/mentor to students and staff to ensure a qualified workforce.
