Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shift to provide comprehensive patient care in an acute setting. Under the direction of the Office Manager and/or Physician, you will implement the nursing process and coordinate care with an emphasis on age-appropriate and culturally aware needs.

You will perform nursing assessments, deliver evidence-based care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality, and positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct patient care in an acute care setting.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Current Georgia RN license required; BLS required on hire.
• ACLS may be required for some settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate delivery of safe, quality patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care reflecting age/cultural needs.
• Maintain documentation and participate in performance improvement activities.
