Job summary

Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation in Newark, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our skilled nursing team on full-time days. You will provide progressive respiratory care and work with a compassionate, high-quality care team to support patients’ recovery.

Responsibilities include operating ventilators and delivery devices, monitoring patient responses, assisting breathing exercises, maintaining charts, and ensuring equipment safety.

Qualifications

• Active State Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Completion of an approved school for respiratory therapy.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate ventilators and aerosol generators.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses to therapy.
• Assist patients with breathing exercises.
• Maintain and update patient therapy charts.
• Inspect and test respiratory therapy equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Demonstrate procedures to trainees and other staff.

Education

State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
