Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Kansas City Heart Rhythm unit is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, daytime schedule (Monday–Friday). The role involves patient screening, exam preparation, general nursing care, medication administration, and careful documentation of records.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license and 1–3 years of RN experience preferred. No travel is required; benefits are offered.

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing.
• 1–3 years RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, nursing care, and admissions/testing.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls; triage when needed.
