NKC Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Heart Care – Electrophysiology clinic in North Kansas City. The role focuses on device management, patient care, and education for patients with implanted devices.

The position requires cardiovascular nursing experience, Missouri RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and familiarity with rhythm management and EKG analysis. Monday–Friday, daytime hours with occasional outside-the-schedule coverage.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
Current Missouri Registered Nurse license.
Minimum of two years cardiovascular nursing experience; EP/device testing experience preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association).
ACLS certification.
Experience with cardiac rhythm/rhythm management and EKG analysis.
Basic office skills.

Responsabilités

Demonstrates competency in testing devices and appropriate programming.
Communicates results to physicians in charge of patient care.
Follows device clinic documentation procedures.
Performs CV assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
Competency in reviewing remote monitor transmissions and patient follow-up.
Provides device education to patients and caregivers.
