Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City seeks a Clinical Nurse (RN) for the Internal & Family Medicine PCU Nights. This part-time position delivers professional nursing care, conducts assessments, and supports the care plan for adult patients across the unit.

You will document accurately, collaborate with patients and families, follow safety policies, and participate in education and coordination with the health care team. Requires ADN/BSN path and current Kansas RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Required education: High School Diploma; ADN required with BSN by 5th anniversary if hired after 2017.
• ADN or BSN pathway and licensure to practice as RN in Kansas.
• 6 months to 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Document accurately and maintain patient records per unit standards.
• Coordinate care with patients, families and health care team to ensure safe, effective care.
