Job summary

Steuben Foods is seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk to support warehousing and receiving operations in Elma, NY. The role coordinates receiving activities, schedules delivery appointments, and enters receipts into inventory systems to support accurate stock control.

The ideal candidate has prior receiving experience, familiarity with MRP and inventory control systems, and strong communication skills to coordinate activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, warehouse receiving, or a related environment.
• Familiarity with MRP or inventory control systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving activities, including delivery appointments and locations.
• Enter and maintain accurate receipts in Protean.
• Maintain an organized receiving recordkeeping system.
• Assist with inventory level management through effective communication and coordination.
• Verify BOM information against physical receipts.
• Support and refine the raw material tagging process with IT collaboration.
• Support off-site receiving activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate receiving and inventory information within systems.
• Take on new projects and support organizational initiatives as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
