Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southwest Agg LLC is seeking a rail loadout operator to load railcars safely and accurately at our Ogden, TX site. You will monitor flow, equipment, and product quality, performing routine inspections and coordinating rail movements with train crews and plant personnel.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Operate rail loadout systems to safely and accurately load railcars according to specifications.
  • Monitor material flow, equipment performance, and product quality throughout the loadout process.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of rail and loadout equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safe operating conditions.
  • Coordinate rail movements through effective communication with train crews, dispatch, and plant personnel.
  • Follow all safety procedures and respond appropriately to equipment alerts or changing operating conditions.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
